I did not look at it ike many of the posters. The post was long but if you do some research it is pretty factual. We just don't as Westerners like to acknowledge our governments, corporations and religious institutions involvement in some of the strife throughout history.
Yes Muslims like to blame everyone else now days but how much of it has turned out to be true, case in point Weapons of Mass Destruction which the US and the Brits jumped on as a reason for entering Iraq. Sadam killed so many people but this could not be used as an excuse but a lie had to be concocted in order for them to invade. The title to me was a little misleading from the article but acknowledge that a lot of the items did actually happen.
The use of these tactics have been documented as used throughout history not only on the Islamic Caliphate but in Africa, India, South America,America, and Asia as a predecessor to colonialism by governments or by corporate entities. My fellow westerners please don't get angry and bash or call someone an extremist, terrorist or any other derogatory label for only pointing out world history in a factual light not just from our watered down World History texts or newspapers. I am sure the Vietnamese viewed the problems caused in their country differently than the British, French and finally the Americans.
