Try these steps:
1) Remove the power to the receiver by pulling plug
2) Remove the digicard, wipe it with a soft cloth and re-insert
3) Put the plug in and right away Press and hold the guide+active+Channelup+channelDown (4 buttons) in the receiver. This is a hard reset of the reciver. hold for 10 seconds.
4) Now press power on in the receiver. Should be ok. I called the helpline and did this. It worked right away.
