I had taken an El Al flight to Israel and an Orthodox Jewish women was seated next to a strange man and had requested to be moved to sit with her teanage children.
It wasn't a big deal people politely switched sweats and were respectful.
I really can't understand how this situation is any different except that the person in question is a MUSLIM. We need to stop beating on everything a Muslim person does. I can't understand why nobody would switch seats, really how big of an inconvience is it to switch seats... get up and sit down..yes quite the challenge.
Europeans are generally very hostile towards Muslim travellers and honestly I don't know of how many stories we have to read in the newspapers before we just stop spending our money in those countries.
