One has to look at the bigger picture here....if you know that 80% of jobs here are occupied by expats then that's bad for our economy full stop....you get paid a pretty decent wage and you enjoy the benefits here so why still complain about Qatari's not deserving of their jobs and using "wasta"? locals account for 20% of the population so we've got no option but to make the best of that situation! Besides, I find that too many ppl are either misguided or exaggerating when they talk about "wasta"...most locals, my generation anyway, are educated and hard-working so you're wrong when you say we're not deserving of certain jobs.
Also, at the end of the day I like to think Im human....I dont want to be felt alienated because of my nationality...or to be told that Im spoiled...or that I dont deserve something because Im privilged.
