You can get a good selection of face paints at an art supply store that is near Toys R Us.
If you are driving on C Ring road (Suhaim Bin Hamad St.) from Hamad Medical City toward Salwa, turn right after Toys R Us onto Al Mirqab (towards Doha Clinic, which is on the Marhaba map.)
Look for the Nokia store on your left. . .but . . .
You will actually be turning into the strip of shops on your RIGHT. There is an art supply store that is pretty much right across the street from the Nokia store in that strip. It's easy to find.
Walk in the store and keep to your right. The face paint (great selection of packages and individual colors!) will be on your left just before you hit the back of the store.
