Don't know if you read much, but we've just finished a couple of books by Stuart MacBride - he writes about an Aberdonian detective called Logan. really gory but very amusing and set in Aberdeen. He sends the weather up like nobody's business.

If you read, and haven't read these, I will check if hub's ok to lend them out or not.
