When condoms were introduced in Africa many years ago as a way of containing HIV the health workers would travel to villages and unroll the condom and use a stick or a broom handle to demonstrate how to wear it.
Then they found out that men were doing the exact same thing; putting them on sticks or broom handles and then getting down to business.
