When my daughter was born my wife had an emergency Caesarean section [the baby was 9lb 11oz - 4.4kg]
We lived and slept in the living room as Jan could not get upstairs.
The room would regularly have a scent that we can only describe as an old fashioned ladys perfume.
I would smell it and in the next breath it would be gone, but then the Jan would smell it, then it would be gone.
Also we were forever finding long grey hairs on the baby, but we don't know anyone with long grey hair and the clothing was all brand new from different packaging.
As they got better it all stopped.
But some years later when my daughter was ill it all started again, then stopped again when she recovered.
When my son was born, you've guessed it, it sterted again, grey hairs and the same smell everywhere.
And my son was really ill and was hospitalized the hairs and scent happened before he went into hospital and when he came home.
Now get this.
My 3 year old niece was visiting us with her Mum and wanted to use the loo.
As her Mum was holding our new baby I took her up the stairs to make sure she was safe and waited for her where my stairs turn.
When she came out of the bathroom she just stood there looking at our bedroom doorway saying "is the lady coming down stairs with us?".
The hairs went up on the back of my neck.
"What lady ?" I said.
She walked to my bedroom doorway with her eyes fixed on where someones eyes of adult height would be.
"This lady, she is nice" she said pointing to her "face".
I was rooted to the spot but got her to come to me and I carried her down the stairs shaking.
She hasn't been around for a while, but then again no one has been I'll for a while.
We have one in our home.
It is a friendly one though.

It dun't really matter.
