to answer your questions - my hubby was offered grade 16, basic salary of 18.5k. He has 10 years of experience-currently working as a specialist.
like you and someone else i've met over the forum, we have not made up our mind yet. you can ignore my previous posting on stating that we've decided to go.
what we're gonna do is, we will write to joan, asking for an increase in housing allowance or a written guarantee of accommodation from QP. we definitely do not want to leave our comfortable, spacious home here, only to go and live in a small 2BR apartment for a few extra riyals...
these are the things that we are considering right now:
1) we both go
2) hubby go, i stay here - the most profitable financially.
3) we both stay here
if i go, i will try to find a job there, but i'm sure it's not gonna be easy, and we can't count on that.
