Did you use the router's wizard during setup?
If you're using Internet Explorer do you have "never dial a connection" checked in Internet Options?
Can you access the router's control panel? Usually you type 192.168.0.1 to access it.
You need to input your Q-Tel Internet username and password.
The other settings should be:
Internet IP Address: Get Dynamically From ISP
Domain Name Server (DNS) Address: Get Automatically From ISP
NAT (Network Address Translation): Enable
Multiplexing Method: LLC-Based
VPI 8
VCI 35
Wireless Access Point: Enable
Also check your security options and make sure your laptop and router have the same settings.
