Each day I see cars on the side of the road having suffered from an accident. The two biggest concerns are - There are a lot of V8 SUVs on the road here and they will make a big impact. And they are usually driven in excess of 80kph around town. So if they hit you there will be a lot of damage.
Near misses happen everytime you go out.
There is, at the moment, a Mercedes out by Villagio shopping mall. It was hit from behind. The drivers compartment is intact but there is no longer any room, even for a mouse, in what was the back of the car. The car used to be a big car but is now shorter than a Mini. God only knows what happened to the car or the driver but this is not a surprising sight.
Yes there are a lot of accidents and you may die on the road here - you have more chance here than anywhere else in the world.
If you are at all nervous about driving or being on these sort of roads then you will be stressed everytime you go out somewhere. Given that you need to drive to get to the shops or anywhere we do spend quite a bit of time on the road.
