Whatever I do this year I will book early! Last time we planned a night out in Doha on new year's eve, 2006/2007, you may remember was the heaviest rains and storms and we drove from Dukhan, went to Mint for a meal and then planned to go to a hotel only to find that they only allowed ticket holders in. The rain was so bad we couldn't get home and spent most of the night in Rydges car park listening to the radio!
