When we lived in Saudi you could buy camel meat at the local butchers. It looks a lot nicer than it tastes.
It's a pale looking meat, along the lines of veal. But it's taste and texture is more like a stewing steak.
Great for slow cooking.
Personally, I don't rate it much. More a novelty factor.
