I hope I got the name right. She is a good RJ for Qatar. Or maybe her slot-Rock Music is good.

And ofcourse Bernie. He knows to engage the listeners.

People should know the difference between an RJ and a DJ.

An RJ's requisites are much different than those of a DJ.

RJ- Talk 19 to the dozen. Know his/her music.Engage listeners with with humour/general knowledge/creativity.

DJ- scratch the discs. Need not speak a damn word.

No arguments on the fact that both DJs and RJs are excellent, extremely talented people in their own right.

But when a DJ tries to be an RJ (as is the case with a few in QBS), it becomes sad.

RJing has a long way to go in Qatar. Lots to learn from FMs in UAE first. Then aim at reaching global standards.

Any comments?
