With respect to all religious, nonreligious and atheists people, what Marx, said was a concept he offered to invite people to give up any kind of religion they believe in.
Of course, one is completely free to believe whatever he likes and feels it answers his questions.
Allah Says in Qu’ran:
[18][29] Say, “The Truth is from your Lord": Let him who will, believe, and let him who will, reject (it)”
For this reason, people are free to believe whatever they want, however in judgment day, Allah will judge who believe and who reject.
