I have had pets all my life…well cats and dogs only. I can’t see myself loving a fish! Pets make wonderful companions, but before having one you have to make sure that his/her personality matches yours!

Right now I have no dog and feel like something is missing in my life, that’s how attached you become to having a pet…I gave my mother my dog called Talkien because here in Doha he would suffer so much and back at my mum’s he has lots of forest to run. I can tell you why I love him and that’s because he is very loyal to me and my mother and have such a willingness to please. Last summer I spent four months in Spain and Talkien was really good looking after my baby as well! For some reason he kept an eye on her All the time, really protective, sleeping in her bedroom when she was sleeping and looking for me the minute she would wake up and cry and at that time Heidi was taking her first steps and he would become very anxious when she was wandering too far from me in the garden and would push her back to me, it was really funny to watch! He would also play really gently with her, it was so sweet, because when he plays with me he’s such a brut!

I think that’s what makes pets so special, they are just part of the family.
