Just for your information, airlines often employ cabin crew with particular language skills. you may notice that QA fly to many destinations and i would be inclined to believe that the majority of its passengers do not speak english. Also, its not fair to judge someones conversational english (the skill in question) by looking at their writing.
Since when has "retort" been an insult? i think you are a little confused here. have you heard the saying "people in glass houses shouldnt throw stones" ?.. i suggest YOU get a dictionary and look the word up.
