JOB RESPONSIBILIES
• Responsible for implementation of WPS as per client requirement. Witness fit-up and visual welding joints as per ISO construction drawing. Ensuring correct material used.
• Conduct Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) as per proposal Welding procedure specification (PWPS) and welder qualification test (WQT) as per specification.
• Coordinate and discuss problems with client if necessary audit project documentation.
• Supply information, line Checking and punch listing.
• Arrange client’s representative for witness points as per the approved Quality Control Plans.
• Performing phased array ultrasonic examination for in-service pressure vessels and structurals.
• Preparation of calibration set up for Phased Array equipment for each specific job .
• Making of PAUT scan plan as per coverage of thickness using ES-Beam.
• Very high thick wall joints of Process piping were inspected with PAUT. Piping joints were scanned using Pipe scanner of 12” to 64” diameter of various thickness
• Performing PCN Ultrasonic Inspector Flat tower erection and TKY joints, Turret all structure, gantry erection joints and Crane Erection High Thick wall TKY joint. Elbow Joint and nozzle connectors, Tank partition, I beam TKY joints
• All kinds of refinery related Non-Destructive testing such as UT testing , DP testing , MP testing , RT testing etc. During the time of work with the company successfully attended shut down inspection for various units such as Ammonia ,LPG ,etc. in above mentioned refineries.
• UT scanning of weld with angle probe for flaw detection such as pipe weld , equibement weld ( weld of vessels & heat exchangers ).
• Capable of doing Film Interpretation as per applicable codes.
• Capable of doing PMI & HARDNESS as per applicable codes.
• Monitoring Welding Activities as per WPS and Quality System procedure.
