I hate the way people pronounce my name. It's pronounced as Cheedam. It means crocus which is kind of a flower that grows in the mountains.
I'm Turkish-American. I'm married and have one daughter who is about to turn 4 in September.
We are quite new here, just moved couple of months ago due to my hubbies work. I like it here so far. I would love it, if the weather wasn't so hot. Oh well, I guess you can't expect to have everything.
I have a master's degree in Art History with the lack of work experience, other than two years teaching and working in the excavation sites during summers. I would love to find a job here in a museum though.
I spend hours and hours on this site just surfing and reading threads on various topics.
Life would be a lot better if I had a few girlfriends here. Maybe I make some friends one of these days. Who knows!!!
