The second edition of the World Table Tennis (WTT) Star Contender Doha came to a successful conclusion at the Lusail Multipurpose Hall in Lusail yesterday, with Brazil’s Hugo Calderano emerging as the first Latin American player to win a WTT trophy. 

The initiative aims to introduce fans to the cultures of Qatar and the region as major events unfold.
