NATURE OF JOB
Electrical QC Inspector
Ensure that all related inspection and testing activities with regards to Environment, Health & Safety.
Coordinate and assist sub contractor to resolve any encountered problems related to inspection and testing activities to meet schedule and avoid any delay of activities. Invite client for witness and hold points in Inspection/Test.
Ensure the effective coordination with the client related to inspection, testing activities and documentation.
Ensure the implementation of Contractual Inspection and Tests.
Prepare system punch list and coordinate with the subcontractor for re-inspection to verify completion.
Coordinate with the client for punch list closure and final acceptance.
Witness and liaise with vendor for any related electrical equipment testing activities.
Maintain all Quality Control Report.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY
Conducting Daily site Inspection for construction Activities.
Preparation of inspection and Test Plan, Construction Quality Procedure and method of statement.
Preparation and submittal for RFI and RFC Walk through punch list.
Preparation of Client Inspection Schedule for daily construction activities.
Preparation of Weekly Plan Schedule as per charging location.
Preparation of NCR and Surveillance for wrong construction Activities.
Review and Inspect of all Electrical material prior to Installation by Material receiving Inspection.
Daily monitoring the construction Activities.
Inspection of Electrical Equipment Function Test and Illumination level testing of lighting system.
Inspection of Electrical Installation panels monitoring control panel wiring, Termination, cable routing & cable Tray Installation.
Coordinating with client representatives regarding the implementation and quality of works.
Inspection of Switch Gear panel installation, Cable Termination and Bus bar torque. Insulation resistance and winding Resistance Testing of LV, MV Motors, Inspection of Ground Rod and Grounding cable, as per engineering specification.
Preparation of Electrical Inspection Reports.
QA/ QC Inspection for cathodic protection system and Electrical heat tracing system.
Witness for pre- commissioning of motor Solo Run activities.
Provide sufficient feed back to QA/ QC manager on the day to day Quality issues.
To supervise and carry out effective implementation of work schedule to clear punch list.
