QSL makes it easier for football fans to catch matches this Eid
Qatar Stars League (QSL) has made changes to its fixtures with the implementation of a double-header system.
A double header system is where two matches will be held one after another in one stadium.
The organizers said that the changes in the fixtures will not only allow fans to witness more action but will also help the national and Olympic teams in their coming endeavours.
Also, the league would celebrate the coming of Eid al-Adha with free entry for the audience, for all the Round 3 matches.
He added that for every person attending a match, QSL would donate 10 Qatari Riyals to the displaced Syrian refugees.
Besides, all ticket revenue from Round 4 onward will also be donated to Syrian Refugees in conjunction with Qatar Charity.
The prayer timings have also been considered and it is made sure that the matches will not coincide with these.
The authorities also stated that changes to the schedule will allow fans to see more matches with the proposed double header system.
QSL, having become the first professional football league in the world to donate all its ticket revenue to aid the displaced Syrian refugees, has urged fans to attend the match and support their favourite team whilst helping others.
