Interesting answer Hearthrob. Would you care to specify. We a seriously trying to find a decent ground for our children to play, instead of being chased by the police from the public green spots.

It's a pity, greed is plying concrete all over the city.

If you are really a good player, all you have to do is, show what you can do and have a try-out with different clubs in Doha.

Other guys have given you already the known spot to go.

GoodLuck!

You could try the Rugby and Football Club, it's near the American School of Doha.

If you want a place to kick the ball around with a few friends during the weekends... you can go to the Rayyan Ground which is near the Rayyan Round about or the Airport ground or theres another ground near Khalifa Stadium behind Hyatt and Villagio at around 4pm on weekends. There would be tons of people playing there... including me...

If you want to go a step higher there are few leagues which are associated with the clubs. If you are good enuff, they'll welcome you with open arms...
