Let us all pray that eligible bidder to win 2022 ( QATAR ).

We seen 16 th Asian games and let us see this 2022 in Qatar.

Yes we faced Rent hike. But at the same time many of our brothern got jobs here.

So let us pray god for the eligible bidder to win WC 2022( QATAR please god )

And I have repeatedly stated that I had good experiences with many Qataris. But you are bashing Asians, in your attempt to suck up to Qataris and since many of my friends are Asian, I find that offensive (and hypocritical).

What does ANY of this have to do with them hosting the WC?

By anonymous• 2 Dec 2010 14:59
anonymous

I agree, you came on job offer like every one. But did you not applied for it? It was 100% our decision to come here. Why complaint. If not happy, doors are open.

I have never attacked my country man but I do not want to talk against Qataris as we always had good experience with them, may be you not but for your sake, we can not change our views.

We find Qatar more peaceful then any Asian country and would love to stick here irrespective of money.

we are all here because we need each other... our skills against their money...

No the Emir did not "invite" me. I came with a job offer like everyone else. Accepting a job offer doesn't mean that I become blind, deaf and dumb, like apparently you are. What is your point?

Are you saying that Asians treat other Asians badly, but Qataris always treat you equally? You don't really expect anyone to believe that, do you? Are you that afraid of having to go back home to India that you attack your own countrymen and kiss the arse of any qatari? Must suck to be you. ;)

By anonymous• 2 Dec 2010 12:49
anonymous

Coming to Qatar was our choice. When you are in Rome, we have to live like Roman.

Where there is no discrimination amongst local & expat?

Australia - British are rather more bad I believe.

Indians are very safe here and we never felt any bias here.

When I cross road, a Qatari stops vehicle and with respect allow me to cross. Asian rather shows irritation.

Vote for our Qatar

Ice Maiden, hang out at the W or the Four Seasons the next time they hold one of these exhibition games, I've seen Beckham, Kaka, Ronaldo and Pele. Almost knocked Kaka over coming out of an elevator last year.

One plus point of having 2022 in Qatar would be I might get to see football greats relatively close up, rather than having to travel half way across the world :)

I guess you have forgotten family days, nationality-based salaries and the bias against Asians that heavily prevails here...

Some official said:" The presentation cannot make you win the bid, only lose it." If the short presentation is all Qatar has to offer, it won't be enough to win. Qatar is still considered the ONLY bidder with a HIGH RISK according to the executive summary of FIFA's final report. Why choose the 'High Risk' bidder, if there are four at 'low risk?' Any clues?

polkadots,

Do you know that none of the marketing was actually done by Qataris?

The short movies are Australian production!

Money sure buys almost everything. It didn’t buy talent or skills but it can fool those who don’t know better!

Isn’t it sad when money is the only advantage? Particularly when this money is not even earned as the result of personal efforts!

By anonymous• 2 Dec 2010 09:16
anonymous

Wow! ALL CHEERS TO THE QATAR TEAM!!! for their mind blowing presentation, Both the HH s came out as great orators and statesmen, now how many royals in the ME region can boast that?

The short films were excellent and goes right to the heart of the viewer, so does the question when, What ever be the result, Qatar’s WILL BE THE BEST DONE BID of 2010, talk about Morgan Freeman losing pages and mumbling on stage, C'mon US after berating the whole of Asia for professionalism, is this what you could drum up for something imp as 2022 Bid? or is the bid not so important?????

By anonymous• 2 Dec 2010 09:11

Hemlata, idle housewife...& it shows!...'ideal' is purely relative...but at least you're honest so points for that...

i checked the official page of FIFA. i learned that Sheikha Mossa was the one presenting the Qatar bid along with a Prince. I did not get his name but i'm pretty positive that he is the son of Sheikha Mossa who graduated last year (or maybe this year) at Georgetown Univ School of Foreign Service. am i right? i can not forget the picture of him being kissed by his mom, Her Highness, on his graduation in front of other graduates. it was so sweet..

@ soniya, how could you even think such a thing???...nobody deserves to host this tournament except Qatar, because you live in Qatar,Qatar is feeding & clothing you,so you must blindly support Qatar,as unrealistic as their bid might be...is probably what our friend Xceptionalgreat & his bunch of "wannabeqatari arse kissers" will say to you...LOL!!! :)...

No need to pray for deserving country, if it deserves automatically they will get it, and by the way Qatar is our second home, so we are all praying for qatar to get as our country is not participating in it.

dear all.............

Just only hours to go for the bid result. We should strongly pray for Qatar to Won the Bid for hosting the world cup. With this not only Qatar will shine in the map of the world and people around the world came to know the Islamic culture but also can have a lot of benefits to the expatriates for better salaries, save job and great vacancies...

If we have it, just after 10 years, Qatar changes from deserts to sky scrapers and a good destination for tourist like now as Dubai...

I request you all to cross your finger and pray to Allah to have this bid in Qatar's bag...

We, the expatriates, may not be here after 10 years, but we can say Qatar got because of our bid and prayers.............

immediately following the announcement of the non-Qatar winning bid it's expected the Qatari government will declare the winning country be rated as an "enemy country", therefore trade sanctions and visa restrictions will apply to all affected citizens & country specific businesses from the 3rd Dec.

By XceptionalGreat• 1 Dec 2010 23:29

It's so simple then.. you should start a forum topic to vote for the country of your choice !!

But you prefer to behave like a Peeping Tom..lollzzzz.. poor u !!

By XceptionalGreat• 1 Dec 2010 23:17

Yes, it does make a big difference..

Otherwise, the bidding nations wont be spending millions on PR campaigns..

My life is full of joy.. but your life seems to be worthless.. that's why you are poking your nose into the affairs which are not of your interest !!

By ex.ex.expat• 1 Dec 2010 23:17

So my little vote for Australia won't mean anything.

BTW, Mr. "exceptionalgreatwannabeqatari", this topic does interest me. Thus my nose poke. I just don't necessarily agree on the proper final outcome but as a long time football fan you can be sure I am interested in where the WC is held.

Do you really think voting on a website is going to make a difference?

Is your life so empty here?
