And Thus They Battled The Raging Sea...
I was out at sea last week for a dhow sailing race. Although the contestants sailed the wind, they had on the most advanced life jackets for safety at all times.
Seeing them fight the slightly choppy sea, I pondered on how an earlier generation built this land by diving to its very depths.
The power of the visual was awesome... and my Big Chief Eagle Eye blinked once to capture it for eternity.
Do u sail near the intercon. sea? casue I saw smiliar boats sailing there when I was jet-sking and my friend passed near this boats with his jet ski and they look at him with anger on thier faces and they were correct!
did u took the pic while u were on a boat? and with what cam? druc is an artist too!

Brit, No, the dhow has not overturned. They were banking and turning back to race to the finish point. I caught this shot when the sailors let the sail go and was rushing to the opposite side of the dhow. The same dhow went on to win the race.
