Jujitsu classes
Hi everyone
I am looking for a jujitsu class which I have been practicing for 8 years in the UK.
I am a Blackbelt (Shodan) in a pure selfdefence style called tenshin-shinyo-ryu. I am trained by an 8th dan, however as you can see working in Qatar has resulted in me not being able to continue training.
This is not like brazillian jujitsu or Krav maga.
Anyone interested in practicing with me would be fantastic.

I have never practiced jujitsu, but was always interested in starting. I ve just arrived to Doha and it could be perfect time to start or at least to see if your group started with training.
If you already started, I would be grateful if I could join you one day and see how ity works in practice.

Yeah, it's impossible to train on grass, we would need a tatami. Aspire, universities and schoolls should have something.

Problem is with this style we are throwing too, from quite a height sometimes, which really should be done on a mat.

Funny thing, but you could actually practice at the Aspire park. Its quite free.
Just suggesting a place that could save you from renting any house here for that purpose.

Hello guys
First thing is (thank you) I can't believe how quickly I got a reply.
Anyway as I'm new to Qatar I wouldn't have a clue where we could practice. Also I didn't bring my gi or belt (so) does anyone know where I can buy a gi and obi from (not very prepared am I)!
This is a very small part of a demo given to Sir Tom Hibbert M.B.E (EX Chief Executive AMA)8 years ago (just before I started, this is for Shihan's 7th dan award).
PS can I just say I have also been trained through the years by different Dan Grades who help Shihan run the club.

i've got some years of aikijutsu takeda ryu with a 5dan aikijutsu, 5dan iaido, 3dan ninjutsu, 5dan kempo sensei. i have some practice also in the above, plus a few more. i'm also interested in finding a sparring partner in a country where apparently it's very difficult to proceed this way.
