It seems that when it rains, it pours. If Dubai has a Diego Maradona as coach of a local club, then Qatar will soon have Brazilian Dunga. He is set to take over as Al Rayyan coach on Tuesday, after their Brazilian coach Paulo Autuori was drafted into the top of the Qatar U-23 team.

This is exciting times. I have always wanted to meet him, and now seems to be a good time!

Here is the news from Doha Stadium Plus at... http://www.dohastadiumplusqatar.com/dunga-coach-qatari-club-al-rayyan/

the reponsibility of the coach depends on the player understanding of tactics and in todays world the successful coach is the coach who can let the playes know what to do and when.

will definitely be a welcome addition. such signings will always help increase the profile and visibility of the Qatar Stars League. But it's equally important that he is not fired after four of five games just because he could not stop some defeats. He needs to be given time. He's new and will need time to get used to the players. He is a very defensive minded coach. I don't know how he'll find the going in Qaar especially as they will be looking for wins from the very beginning from him...

To bring in Dunga into the League itself will definately boost player's morale, not just in Rayyan but in the rest of the teams as well.
