As designs go, it's pretty, but not that relevant to Doha. What does it represent?

The only trees we have are date palms...

As in which agency? Not too sure what message it is supposed to be giving if I am honest?

Nice logo... but says nothing about an Olympic bid to me. Completely misses the mark as far as I am concerned.

You seriously think that Qatar has a chance of winning the Olympic Bid after the debacle of the World Cup? Not a snowball’s chance in hell (or the Qatari Heat). Just how are the athletes going to be expected to compete in the summer here? Or is Qatar going to win the bid and decide that the Summer Olympics needs to merge with the Winter Olympics?

More chance of a successful bid from North Korea.

Yes this is a great logo! Brilliant in every way and the lighted path to a winning bid.

It's a nice logo because it does represent the meaning of the word Doha in Arabic, which is a great tree with many branches.

I like this logo. To me the repetition of the V shapes suggests the victory sign. The choice of colours is striking, with the strong contrast between the black centre and the light exterior. I also think of the struggle that trees face in Doha, marvelling at how they survive the heat.

Better than the London one, but that is not saying much. Interesting choice of tree considering the climate.

Boring Logo and boring colours!!! Hope you haven't paid the invoice yet Qatar!

Perhaps the logo is inspired by environment friendliness of the sporting extravaganza. I don't see any Olympic or the country in it either.

Not sure. It's colourful, but doesn't really say anything about Qatar or Sports..

I would not support this logo coz the people who made everything happen for Qatar are the expats especially the world cup .... In return we got nothing but from Qatar except higher rents and more exploitation of people in Qatar ... Change it rules Qatar we expats will support you don't expect everything in your favour
