Dukhan beach is good. Al Wakra, a lot of stones are there below water. but ok Also try to go to sealine beach resort for 75 riyal entry u can enjoy many things there, with a pool for kids and self and beach and restaurant facility(food is not inclusive)
If you're prepared to pay, Katara and most 5 star hotels have a private beach. Otherwise you'll need to travel to Fuwairit in the north (about 100kms) or Zekriet in the west (about 60km's). I believe there's also a beach in Al Wakrah (about 10kms past the airport)

I wouldnt go to Katara its a rip off and they have a 12ft sign of rules. Which is probably why no one ever goes on the beach there
