for me after 16 years am sure there is lots to do. going to the inland sea for a couple of days with friends to stay in the tents. dont they have a ice ring. should be fun. dont think i will be able to have a drink of beer/cider. qatar and bars is just to weird. you will c me around. i will be either the whitest person or the burnest person. dont think i will be going to the cube after reading about it on here. i have read about a comedy night at one of the hotels. does anyone where and when. cant remember where is read it??

There aren't unlimited tourist opportunities here, but there certainly is enough to keep a tourist busy for a few days. The people who say there isn't anything to do here have been here for long enough for all of the opportunities to get old or worn out. Either that or they are just bad-mouthing Qatar in general.

I would suggest leaving Doha and seeking out some of the cool waterfront areas around the country. It's a fun drive and you can get around the country in a day.

If you want to see changes, go to past the Sheraton to West Bay and turn up towards the golf course.

Nothing like what it used to be

Souq Waqif and all around Aspire and Khalifa Stadium, you're about done after that. :)
