Next month I am planning to visit Dubai for 5, 7 or 9 days and wonder if I need a tourist-Visa or anything likely. FYI; I will get my Qatari-RP this week.

Besides, does anyone have experience with Admiral Plaza hotel and/or suggestions for sightseeing? I'll probably book my flight with flydubai.

If you are Dutch then you get your visa on arrival, the standard 30 days.

Nine days will be good to see Dubai. Stay at London Crown i can give you the detail tomorrow. Places to Visit: Dubai Mall, Emirates Mall , Burj Khalifa, Jumeira Beach, Ibn Batuta Mall, Deira City Center, Desert Safari, Wild Wadi or Atlantis water park.

Also must visit Al Ain & Abu Dhabi (Grand Mosque & Emirates Palace)

These are must see places.

better visit your friend there and if possible stay also with him, he will guide you all around UAE. There are a lot of places to visit, unlike Qatar. You can enjoy your week. If you depend on taxi,,,,not a good idea
