visiting the beach and the sites - Al Wakraah

Hi All,
I have elderly parents who will be visiting and would appreciate knowing how I can apply for a permit to visit the beach with them along with the car :)

Apparently expats can walk in as currently it is only Qatari's who can come in with their cars.

Having tried it myself - it isn't just the borders - but an entire depth to be explored at Al Wakraah. It is a picturesque and quaint little village, brilliant skies, and shipping remnants.

As much as I enjoyed going there; I'd like to take my parents when they come. The heat is going to be working full-time now so.. your assistance is appreciated in this regard.

Thank you!

the last time I visited the quaint village at Al Wakraah I saw no signs of recession - only brilliant sunshine - lots of people fishing on the other side - families sitting with their kids - all giving it a go.

couldn't take lots of pictures because the battery decided to pack it in :(

so just a few pics showing a quaint old village.

nomerci,

the people at the door do allow you in but not in the car. only Qatari's can do so in their respective cars.

khanan,

as a result I assumed that a permit was required in Al Wakraah.

Is there an office that I can approach therefore, so that going in the car past the gate is possible considering my parents?

parents living in any other gulf states and they want to travel by car to Qatar?

Is this the question?

You and your parents do not need any permision/NOC to visit any of the public beaches.

Why would you need a permit to go to the beach?
