La Traviata in Doha?
Hi all,
I briefly saw an ad for La Traviata along the corniche. Does anyone know details? Where, when, how I can go see it? I heard rumors(?) that the first show was at the Doha golf club yesterday, is that true? Any information would be appreciated. I would love to go see it.

Nah, too late. It was one night only and at the Doha Club. Relatively few people there and the usual shambles, apart from the excellent performance. The government lays on regular entertainments here - at least 20 excellent fireworks shows a year, for example - but it's almost impossible to find out where and when these are to be cos they never advertise anything more than 24 hours in advance.
