* Dalia Salaheldin is an Egyptian bilingual writer, proem poet and consultant to the Reading Islam Project. She is a local activist in the Arab region who has traveled widely throughout the world and has studied Islam at length in Egypt since 1992. She currently teaches Arabic and Quranic language to non-Arabs at the American University in Cairo and is specialized in intercultural and interfaith affairs. She holds a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication and an MA in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language from the American University in Cairo.
