Can anybody help me regarding the entire trip, from booking to the hotels (am not looking at 5 star), places of interest that can be covered in 3 days), how to arrange the sightseeing and anything else that is important to know?

I did a three-day visit to Dubai with hotel and air through Expedia. Once you are there the hotel concierge will assist in booking excursions.

You can have your visa on arrival at dubai airport (your proffesion in Passport should be good). Book your hotel thru online sites. for sightseeing in dubai there is a bus tour which is good and covering all the places. more touring options will be available at hotel...........
