Malaysia is divided into two - East Malaysia & West Malaysia (Peninsula) which are separated by the South China Sea.

If you want to cover both, you need minimum 2 weeks.

The following websites might help :

From Kuala Lumpur, I suggest you take a train ride to Singapore (or vice versa) so that you can enjoy the countryside.

If you need further guidance, PM me.

Thank you.

You r right. I had been to Himachal some time back and I had been to Kerala too some 3 years back. You really can feel the difference. Both are totally different landscapes and experiences. The kerala is lush green and people very friendly. Its worth visiting. Please don't be prejudiced. As there are good and bad Arabs, Good and Bad Philippinoes, good and bad srilankans, good and bad westerners; same way there are good and bad keralites. Though I am not from kerala I still can say...Be there and feel the difference.

Italy has everything. Beautiful alpine mountains, wonderful lakes, great skiing, beaches, culture. Wonderful food, amazing cars, beautiful women, handsome men (or so I am told), the best coffee, Venice, Rome, Capri etc etc

Amazing culture, Roman ruins, the coliseum, the sistine chapel etc, etc

If I worked for a luxury lifestyle magazine I would be having a ball in Italy before doing my hippy thing in Thailand.

You know most about Sri Lanka. I have been to your country so many times. KL, Selengor, Johor, Pasi Gudang, Malaka, Kuntan. We use to participate for Kuntan Six-a-Side cricet every year. Do you know Sanath Jayasuriya and Romesh Kaluwithrane played there. Our team got hammered by them specially me. They were opening pair for every match and they won the championship without loosing a wicket in the entire tounerment. Genting casino. Camaroon highland also nice.

Where did u buy the Noritake. I use to buy Noritake nauut 40% chheper from the factory for By SG & Malaysian friend through a contact.

SL,

You should be proud of your own country !

I have been to Sri Lanka 4 times and I like it. I visited, of course Colombo, Kandy and Kandalama.

I love seeing people playing cricket by the beach, I like the hillside tea plantation (I'm amazed with the varieties of teas sold at the Tea Board shop) and the ceramics especially Noritake are lovely souvenirs. My shirts that I bought from Odel 9 years ago still last until today.

If not because of the bombings, Sri Lanka is a great place to visit.

The weather will be about 25 degrees, beautiful oceans and mountains, great restaurants and pubs. I'll go kayaking in Kejimachujik National Park, drive down to Chester and eat fresh lobster caught that day, head up to my home town in Cape Breton and stay at my friends cottage enjoying a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean. :)

1st, of course MALAYSIA is always on my mind. Be it beaches and island hopping in Langkawi, cable car ride in Genting Highlands, canoeing and jungle trekking in the National Park, snorkling and scuba diving in Tioman Island, and even shopping in Kuala Lumpur, I love it.

My 2nd favourite destination is VIETNAM. I have been there more than 20 times and still look forward to go there again. The nature is untouched and the culture is unspoiled. If you happen to go to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), don't forget to visit Cu Chi Tunnel. You'll be amazed to see how they had built underground tunnels that are complete with cooking facilities, clinics, bedrooms, all are underground to hide from Americans during the war.

I just arrived this morning in Madrid. It’s around 16 degrees & raining (I haven’t predicted this weather, this time of year).

So far everything is fabulous.

I recommend Hotel ‘De Las Letras’ in the live & bustling old Madrid Street Gran Via. Strings of shops, cafes, theaters & restaurants are close by. Plus all of the historical sites are walking distance.

1. Thailand, somewhere far away from Bangkok for a holiday.

2. Kabul, most interesting city. I know not normal but I found it very interesting. In the normal sense Tokyo is very interesting.

3. Beach I'm not sure.
