Holidays outside Qatar
Hi,
I will move to Doha next month. The last question I not have an answer is what are the average prices for holidays outside Qatar i.e. Maledives, Seychelles, Egypt ? I mean if I want to buy such a holidays in Qatar.
Is it possible to book such an event in travel agency? Which agency would you suggest? Many thanks.
Have you come across any award-winning sites for tickets originating from Qatar?

Travel agents here are good at taking the money and purchasing an airline ticket but to find the deals you must do it yourself. the agents will give you packages but you can easily save 30 to 40% yourself if you research on the net. Example. have agents give me package for Sri Lanka...20,000Qr(family of 4), I RESEARCH myself and booked it for 13,000QR for 16 days.

coming back to topic, yes there are travels agents who can plan out your holidays, nothing to worry there.
Emirates is good.
keep a look at the local dailies too, they sometimes come up with good holiday plans too.

Hello Novita77, thanks for your comments on my "Malaysia Query", will trouble you for some more information, if you do not mind.
do not rely on the travel agent in Qatar to do you a tour prices. Last year we went to Jordan ... they want to charge QR 300 per person for airport transfer to the hotel one way. We investigate asking around you can get an airport limousine for QR 100 per car.
travel agent here in Doha have their special offer during off season ... prices would be vary depend where you going and when.
most of our holiday we just use the travel agent to book the flight ... the rest we do by the internet.
would like to recommend space travel in Al Emadi centre near Starbucks Ramada for your travel. Look for Ram the manager of the travel agent.
