Expat travel insurance, can I buy here?

I am going back to the UK for 2 weeks and to other EU for 2 weeks soon. I have medical cover but need to insure my bag, sunglasses, luggage etc against theft or loss, particularly while I am in London as I usually have something nicked while I am there. Can I buy insurance in Qatar? None of the UK companies will help because you have to be permanent resident.

Qatar Airways offers a very competitive travel insurance policy through their website AND you can get miles for doing it!!

Try Columbus Direct for your travel insurance.. They do travel insurance all around the world and also for qatar residents.
I have always bought from them since I lived in the UK and it's the best deal I could find, and amazing cover levels: 14 million for medical costs!
