You can't understand until you walk a mile in someone else's shoes.
Hashin, there is a trick to capture fast action like that of bikes on a track. To start with you'd have to set a higher shutter speed. But even if you aren't using an SLR, try moving your camera along with the subject (in this case the bike) and shoot. This way, the subject should be in good focus but the surrounding a blur, giving it a good speed effect. If shooting in low light conditions, its better to use a tripod, or even a monopod.

Experience is what you get, when you don’t get what you want…..
I am really impressed bcos I tried to take some action photos myself which turned out pretty well I might add...
but what I call action was about 10mph... that bike must be doing what... 100mph atleast...
Images are good, for a canon powershot. Justified corrections on photoshop too.
Maybe you should consider the Canon 400D or Nikon D200. You have alot of potential my friend, magic is not too far away...

thanks...
i actually enjoy the action shots... only because of the complexity in taking them... but when i saw those bikes in the window... i had to go inside and get a few shots...

My fav is the 6th pic, the one with the two stationary bikes...the colors and the shadows are awesome!
I'm not always right, but I'm never wrong :P - Garfield
it was fun...
i have found though that i have reached my complete potential with my point and shoot camera... now i have to save up money for a DSLR... which means my pictures will be more amazing than ever... in about 2 years when i can afford the camera hahahahahaahhaaha
