Baggage allowance of Qatar Airways

By ABAZEEZ

I heard Qatar Airways want to limit 23Kg for each baggage...and total 40Kg/traveller to Calicut/Kochi etc.
But in the Qatar Airways website it is mentioned as 23Kg/traveller as total allowance and baggage weight max. 32kg as existing..Can anybody clarify/Confirm from their experience?

The baggage allowance to Kozhikode/Kochi is differs based on your ticket. If the ticket is purchased in India the allowed baggage weight is 23 Kg only. If it is purchased from Qatar, you are allowed to take 40 Kgs. And in all cases hand baggage is 7 kg.

It is not like that, the total baggage allowance for Indian sector is still (40 Kg + 7 Kg) as stipulated, but the 23 KG means, the individual baggage shall not exceed 23 KG, so you can have two bags of 20 Kgs, they are strict on individual bag exceeding 23 kgs.

23 is your free allowance, you can pay for more.

32kg is the limit per piece of luggage, it seems that according to international regulations people carrying the bags aftewards are not allowed to carry alone more than 32kg.
