A café and restaurant at Education City, with a philosophy based on encouraging people to live healthy lives has opened its doors to the public.
THE CLUB and Chef’s Garden Restaurant and Café is based at AL SHAQAB, and is operated by AMLAK Hospitality. With a lounge café, the Chef’s Garden restaurant is a dedicated space for corporate events and community workshops, and provides access to fitness facilities; so it is not only intended to enhance Qatar Foundation’s (QF’s) facilities and be a standard-bearer for quality in the food and beverage sector, but also to promote local, organic food and the importance of health and wellbeing.
Opened in October 2014 and located inside the prestigious Marwan Club in Al Shaqab, Chef’s Garden – managed by AMLAK Holding‐ is a healthy restaurant bringing the farm‐to‐table concept to Qatar. The restaurant has partnered with local farms to bring only the freshest organic local seasonal ingredients to the table when available. The restaurant accommodates up to 140 diners, offering guests the choice of indoor and outdoor seating on its vast premises. Chef’s Garden is suited to family dining, the Kids Zone play area with dedicated child care specialists offers parents peace of mind and quiet, while allowing them to instill healthy eating habits. Chef’s Garden also features the capacity to cater special events and corporate functions in house.
Lead by Executive Chef Eric Cousin, the restaurant provides a culinary oasis from fast city life allowing diners to revel in the overall culinary experience of being surrounded by nature, and enjoying healthy food.
