QLVG Rescue Number :-)
Trust me, since yesterday I did not sleep and I am still fresh and working in the office :-)
Yesterday so many Volunteers turnout for a ‘Brainstorming meeting' which was concluded successfully. Many new ideas/ suggestions came up for the warehouse, some said to contact Supermarket such as Giant/ FFC etc.. some said to approach some of the office near our collection point. While we were discussing, I figured out that this task is going be a headache for all of us and we might not succeed. Suddenly I remember that I have QLVG RESCUE number in my cell phone. I dialed the Rescue number and one lady picked up the phone, I asked her name, she said I am 'PITSTOP' how I can help you.
I explained her our problem for about 15 mins. She stopped me in between and said SPEED no need to tell me the entire story, just say what you want, I said to her we need a warehouse to store around 9,000 - 10,000 items.
She said that's all!!!! No problem, your request has been granted, you can keep all your stuff in my store.
I announced this good news to all our Volunteers while she was on the phone, everyone cheered and clapped for her. It was one of the great moment for all of us.
She has also offered us unlimited quantity of ICE, which we will fill in her house on the Friday evening (after the collection is over).

Whole night I was thinking that how wonderful thing is being a Volunteer. You take one step and God will open unlimited doors for you. Thank you God.
We are amazed by the response we have received for our 'Summer Campaign' from the Companies and individuals.
Thanks to all Volunteers who turned out to attended the QLVG meeting in such a short notice. You guys are really talented and Energetic. Don’t worry, we will utilize your talents in our next upcoming Campaign ;-) Those who could not make it, no problem, next time and soon.
