QLVG Ramadan activity .....
Alright, after a long bedrest am back to my normal life... (Alhamdulilah - Thanks God)
hmmm .... who is up for some little volunteer work during Ramadan?

Here is the plan:
I noticed that when the time comes close to Maghrib (to break the fast), lots of people on the streets are rushing to their homes to reach on time so that they can join their family or friends on the Iftar but some could make it.
Similar situation is seen at the Airport on the Arrival and Departure gates.
Keeping this in mind, I thought why not we make some small packets containing following items and distribute in the cars and or anybody passing by so that they can open their Fast:
1) Small Water Bottle
2) Small Packet of Dates
3) Small bottle of Orange or Apple Juice
4) Small plastic bags
I need 12 - 15 volunteers just for 1 hrs on Sunday 28.09.2008 @ 5pm at the Airport Signal (Family Food Center) to distribute the packets of dates and water/ juice bottles.
If someone of you who wish to donate boxe(s) of small water/ juices and small packets of dates are welcome.
Therefore, I request all those QLVG members and non members, who wish to take part in this volunteer activity please confirm your name here or thru PM.
I am expecting to make 200 - 300 packets for the distribution on the Airport Signals only, but if we receive more, then we will extend our activity at the Airport Arrival and Departure gates also.
Once we are done, we all will sit in the Garden which is infront of Airport to have some rest followed by light meal/ Tea/ Coffee and some chit chat. Also there is a Mosque those who wants to pray Maghrib prayers will go to the Mosque.
Please note EVERYONE is welcome (Muslims/ Non Muslims) after all this is a Volunteer work.
