What is Expected & what is NOT?!
QLSG has been the group craved by many...everyone wanted to be in... no one cared what the requirements where, they wanted to at least try.
Now ppl are leaving... the Leaving began some time back, when the group was on hold and no one knew what was going on.. ppl had questions but no one had answers. One after the other they moved away.. some said it became too much of a drama, others said that without a specific Boss they didnt want to continue. Ppls had ideas to present, had thoughts to give.. but at the end there was one decision maker...
The crown was handed over, and a new successor was found...Whether up to the mark or not, this was a matter of time to be seen. A meet was held, the first after a long time, and out of the 100 and so members.. barely 20 showed up... being there to show their support to the new manager...
Instead of working on a way and placing ideas and forming plans to give QLSG a push.. we are pointing fingers... Its not easy for a person to step into anothers shoes and continue the walk.. each person has his own personality and character and things will be worked on differently... the goal is the same.. the ambition is the same... the trophy is the same.... but the method is different and the outlook is different.
Without your support, outlook, perceptions, thoughts, ideas, and views... this will not work.. and things will go down... Comparison will not help... for it is not a constructive criticism... You want to criticise please make sure it is a constructive one...
Bringing forth a problem does not help... Bring the problem to light, but also show your idea of the solution.. dont wait for others...
Your thoughts are appreciated... ur views are looked for... everyone write what they expect from QLSG.. what they are looking for.. what they see needs to be done.. so that the work can begin and we can all truely be united... giving each other a social pastime.. making friends.. and helping new ppl integrate into the way of life in Qatar...
Please everyone.. I am not condemning, i am not pointing fingers... I am one of the first who needs to work on helping give this a push.. for I myself have been away from QL for quite some time.. and QLSG also.. I include myself in all the above.. Let us together make this happen...
