Ecuador international marksman Carlos Tenorio will be out of action for six weeks after injuring himself playing for Qatari champions Al-Sadd.

zoom - galleria “The player will be out for six weeks after collecting a knee injury during the 2-0 league win over Umm Salal,” an Al-Sadd club spokesman stated on Saturday.

“Tenorio has just started a rehabilitation program and should his knee comply with the recuperation process he will be back to action in six weeks,” added the club official.

Tenorio was in form for Al-Sadd since the start of the league season, scoirng four goals in six games to shoot the powerhouse into second place.
