My top-four Places to dine in Qatar!

My top-four Places to dine in Qatar!

As we approach the 2022 World Cup, the food industry has grown strongly and quite a few fine dining places have opened up in Qatar. While it's difficult to rank each and every eatery in Qatar, here are my top-four restaurants to chill at.

French Olive
The French Olive is one of my favorite places to dine in. The setting is very casual and one would feel informal, kind of like the kitchen at your home.
For starters, I would recommend their Denmark Croissant and Aranchini deep fried rice balls. The grilled hammour is so nice because they introduce it with fresh olives. However, the dish may smell a bit fishy sometimes, so you may have to request to change it.

Layali Restaurant (Lagoona Mall)
This beautiful restaurant is Mediterranean and most of their Arabic mezza is awesome. Back in school, when somebody invited me to go to Layali, I would literally skip classes for their Maklouba dish. This dish is only offered on two Sundays of every month (bi-weekly) and it's probably among my favorites.

New York Steakhouse
Their short ribs for two dish is awesome as a main course. I would recommend avoiding anything from the dessert menu. The atmosphere of the place is pretty American and the seats are all leather. So not only are you eating beef, you're sitting on it as well. :-)

Home
Nothing compares to a meal from home. Because its healthier, fresher and there're always some left-overs.

I need some arab brothers to take me and my mates out for some proper arab food.
