HH Sheikha Moza attends Fashion Trust Arabia awards gala
HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Honorary Chair of Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA), attended yesterday's Fashion Trust Arabia award event at the National Museum of Qatar.
Co-chairs of FTA HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani and Tania Fares were also present, in addition to a jury comprising fashion-leaders and designers from around the world.
Moreover, well-known figures from the design and fashion industry were also present at the event.
HH Sheikha Moza presented Moroccan designer Mohamed Benchellal with the night's first prize in the Evening Wear category.
Furthermore, Iraqi designer Zaid Affas won in the Ready-to-Wear category, UAE designer Alia Bin Omair in the Jewelry category, Algerian designer Bilal Fellah in the Accessories category, Sudanese designer Abdelgader El Tayeb Al Sadig in the Debut Talent category, and Colombian designer Agustin Nicolas Rivero in the Guest Country category.
Fashion Trust Arabia is a non-profit organization whose mission is to find, nurture, and promote emerging young designers from the Arab world by providing financial assistance and coaching to help them build their businesses and maximize their potential on a global scale.
