Qatar Rail urged passengers to abide by the preventive measures tomorrow, December 18.
For all the Qatar National Day events as well as Amir Cup Final, Qatar Rail is expecting to see a large turnout.
To avoid crowding, the customers can benefit from the metro’s journey pre-planning service through the Qatar Rail mobile application or Doha metro website and arrive at the station in advance of their journey.

Currently, the Doha metro is running at 30% capacity. Public access to stations will be arranged to avoid crowding at the ticketing vending machines, entry gates, and train platforms.
Prepaid Standard Travelcards are available at the outlets of Al Meera, Lulu, Carrefour, Jumbo Electronics, Family Food Center, and on the Talabat app.
Gold class cards are available at all metro stations. Reusable Travel cards provide contactless payment services.
Customers can also recharge their cards by using debit or credit cards on the Qatar Rail application or via Doha metro website.
Customers are required to show Ehteraz health ‘Green Code’ health status at the entrance. It is mandatory for all passengers to wear facemasks throughout their journey with Doha Metro.
