McLaren redefines luxury with the new 570GT
McLaren recently released the 570GT making it the third model in their sport series lineup. The two seater has the same 562bhp twin-turbo 3.8-litre engine as in the 570S. Although the two vehicles share the same engine, you lose 0.3 seconds in the 0-60 mph run — 3.4 seconds, as opposed to 3.1 in the 570S.
McLaren describe the 570GT as the most practical car it has ever built, "targeted towards longer journeys and weekends away." The model will make it's first debut next week at the Geneva motor show. The model has a glass hatchback at the back giving access to a second luggage compartment behind the seats, which adds 7.8 cubic feet of space.
Under the hood sits a V8 Twin Turbo / 3799cc producing 570PS (562 bhp) of power ,and is tuned to develop 600Nm (443 lb ft) of torque.
The GT will retail for QAR 787,600, the deliveries of the GT are due to commence late this year.
