Can anyone advice the life of a nissan patrol engine, recently viewed a patrol milage 400,000 model 1998 is it ok to buy a car with such a high milage, and where to go for computer check of gear and engine as main concerns are those two only.

U will regret after buying it, Average engine life (made in Japan) will be 300K - 500K plus there will be issue with transmission/suspension/leaks/tyres/balancing/electrical stuff.............Better add some more money and buy an bicycle. Good for u r health. Or I still suggest a Camel! He will give u good company too.You will look more stylish and he will not push u to the petrol stations maddening rushs too. He can carry his own feed too n if u are able to get an accomodation nearby to somebody's lush green vila hecan arrange his own fuel too in the night. Yup i would liketo suugest u a camel and all u need is a bag of camel diapers to carry alongwith u to office.
